E-Safety Checks & Pink Slips (Includes LPG)
E-Safety check is mandatory for the motorcycles, light vehicles, trailers, etc. in the state of New South Wales to prove that the vehicle is in an appropriate condition to be driven on the road.
Vehicles completing 5 years of age have to undergo this test to be eligible for renewal of registration. If it passes the test, you receive the pink slip, after which you have a maximum period of 42 days to get it re-registered. However, if any of the parts & components, which are checked, seems faulty, you need to repair or replace it and get the vehicle inspected again within 14 days.
